Fearless Path, formerly known as Twinkies Krafts, was founded in 2014 by Ria Lancaster and her husband, David Lancaster, as a heartfelt response to their son Balian’s autism diagnosis.
It all began with Twinkies Krafts, an Etsy shop where Ria created handmade crafts to raise autism awareness. What started as a way to raise awareness through handmade crafts quickly grew into something more. Motivated by gratitude for the care Balian received at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital, they donated 75% of the shop’s proceeds back to the hospital. That initial act of giving soon sparked a larger vision: a mission to support and uplift the neurodiverse community.
In 2016, Twinkies Krafts became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization co-founded by Ria and David Lancaster. Together, they envisioned a community where neurodiverse individuals like Balian could enjoy safe, inclusive community events—a space where everyone can be themselves and feel celebrated.
By 2021, the organization officially rebranded as Fearless Path to better reflect its evolving mission: to build a community where neurodiverse individuals can thrive, express themselves freely, and be embraced for exactly who they are.
Today, Fearless Path continues to host free meaningful events that bring individuals, families, and communities together. More than just a nonprofit, we are a movement rooted in empathy, advocacy and acceptance. We also provide a vital support network where parents and caregivers can connect, share, and uplift one another.
At Fearless Path, we believe in the power of inclusion, the beauty of neurodiversity, and the strength we find in walking this path together—fearlessly.
